It's Official!

Any thoughts I might have harboured about the role of our local postman in the non-delivery of my Awardee (not to mention a DVD that a friend posted that has somehow 'gone missing') were well and truly quashed this morning when he rolled up with my certificate from the World Blog Council.

I must applaud the WBC for their efficiency. My certificate now takes pride of place above the fireplace in the lounge at Blunt Mansions. I'm proud to be a complete member of the WBC. As Mrs Blunt kindly pointed out, I have always been a complete member to her, and I don't mind saying I gave her a peck on the cheek when she told me that.

I hope your missing missive shows up and postie has not decided that the fare is his on this occassion. The certificate is so impressive and I can understand that Mrs Blunts is obviously delighted at the confirmation of you being a member....of such a postumous club

Thank you, 70's Teen. I shall be forced to write a post about the postie if he doesn't get his act together. He won't so easily mislay my invitations to participate in Reader's Digest draws if I do that, I can tell you!

My sisstifficate hasn't arrived yet! It really is rather impressive. Those people at WBC don't stint do they?

I have noted your comment Mr Blunt, and have hidden the malt.

dp: I think the malt should do the trick!

fanton: that's brilliant! It's a relief to know that my much-maligned thieving postie isn't to blame this time!

meleah: Oh, your blog is so deserving! I do hope you ubmit an application.

shelbspeaks: Now, there's an idea! I shall have to have a word with Mrs B but, if she's agreeable, perhaps a celebratory party of some sort would be a good idea? If so, there'll be an invite with your name on it in the post.

I tried to write a commemorative limerick for you but the opening line of:

"There was a young blogger named Blunt"

only ever led me to 1 possible word that it could end with!

So, instead, congratulations.

Thank you, Mr Articles. But next time, don't be shy and just type the word. I do like people who take a punt at a limerick!

I am very concerned that the arrival of this well-earned certificate seems to have heralded a cessation of hostilities on your part with the blogosphere.

Are you resting on your laurels (it would be better to frame the certificate rather than lying on it), or have you something extra special cooking?

Alas, Enumerator, a few days away mean that I have been unable to post my usual missives to Thomas. Hopefully normal service will be resumed shortly.
