Thanks to the wonderful immediacy of the blogosphere, we are now able to register our disapproval about the Robin Tarts and the Pig Tarts here.
It's a brave man who accuses Bill Blunt of sitting on the fence on such important matters, so I've already done my bit by signing their petition.

His contribution to British journalism over the past 4 decades is almost beyond compare. The list of periodicals and newspapers which have, at sometime or another, included the Bill Blunt by-line reads like a list of periodicals and newspapers.
Bill Blunt is one of those rare individuals who, while you may not always agree with him, will fight until his last breath for the right to be able to publish things you don't agree with. I trust you enjoy reading his trenchant ramblings almost as much as Bill himself so obviously does.

I, for one, can't resist any post categorised as 'tarts'.
I shall have to have words with Mr Hamburger about his labelling system, Crofty. He seems to pick topics that will particularly entice the unwary Googler, probably leading to all sorts of disappointment and frustration.
